We noticed some strange markings in CR 612 done up in Hot Pink. What is it ? Michigan National Guard ? Bicycle Race ? Space Aliens marking a landing zone ? No ! It Road Construction Season in Michigan ! Per the Crawford County Road Commission:
Yes we will be reconstructing the segment of 612 from I-75 to just east of Hartwick Pines Road. 3.5 miles.
We will begin work in a few weeks, with paving being completed around the middle to end of July. Those so inclined may with to seek alternate routes west.
